SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A hearing for the ex-convict accused of fatally stabbing a South Bend man has been pushed back.

Brian McNeill, 29, is charged in the death of Matthew Mitchell, 27.

It happened in March at a home in the 500 block of Rush Street in South Bend.
When police arrived on the scene, a woman was yelling for help.

McNeill, who was on parole after serving time for aggravated battery, left the home before police arrived.

His hearing was pushed back to April 28.
