A hearing is expected to be held on Monday for a man found guilty of criminal recklessness.
Police say Anthony Jefferson, 43, shot two men last September at a home in the 600 block of Brookfield.
One of those men, Jason Reid, died from his injuries.
The other man, Tyreece Walker, survived and testified against Jefferson.
Jefferson was acquitted of the murder charges in February.
Jefferson is also accused of forcing a woman to withdraw money from an ATM and then robbing a 7-Eleven in Mishawaka, days before the shooting.
He then fled to his stepmother's house in Rockford, Illinois and had a stand-off with police, before being arrested.
His trial on those charges is scheduled to begin April 30.
