Federal budget cuts are impacting young students here at home.

WKVI reports that the Marshall-Starke Head Start program is cutting transportation to some students in order to offset a $90,000 funding cut.

Transportation will be provided to all students for the rest of this year, but next year, anyone living more than 10 miles away from their head start facility will have to find their own rides.
