South Bend They've been around for decades and played games all over the world and now the Harlem Globetrotters are back here in Michiana.

If you have never seen them play they are sure to entertain you with athleticism, theater, and of course comedy. The team will be at the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center in South Bend this Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

One of the stars of the team, Flight Time Lang, came into town Wednesday to promote the 2014 “Fans Rule” World Tour. This tour focuses on fan interaction by allowing fans to vote online and choose which new game-changing rules they want to see.

Some of the rules on the 2014 online ballot include Hot Hand Jersey, Make or Miss and Trick Shot Challenge. Lang says Trick Shot Challenge is one of the most popular rules where each coach can challenge the other team to make a trick shot. If the team makes the trick shot, they earn five points. If they miss, the other team receives five points.

If you want to vote you can go to the Harlem Globetrotters website.

You can also go to their website if you want to buy tickets. You can also get tickets by going to Notre Dame’s website , the Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center box office or by phone at 574-631-7536.
