BENTON HARBOR, Mich.--- Harbor Shores is ready to begin tournament play of the 75th Senior PGA Championship.

This morning, 2012 Senior PGA Champion Roger Chapman practiced with a special guest caddy, Christopher Rederstorf, a U.S. Armed Forces veteran from Battle Creek.

Tonight, community members will gather for a concert presented by KitchenAid.

It's the first of three this weekend in downtown Benton Harbor and will feature "The Original P" at City Center Park beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Yesterday, NewsCenter16 spoke to Whirlpool CEO Jeff Fettig during the pro-am who couldn't be more excited about the weekend and the weather forecast.

“It's going to be exciting,” said Fettig. “It's the 2nd time we are having it here. It's going bigger and better than before. Fortunately the weather is cooperating with us and you can see the course, it's absolutely beautiful. We expect a really good turnout and we are very proud for everybody that is visiting and to see all the improvements that we have here in southwest Michigan.”
