The time has come for the College Football Hall of Fame to pack up its South Bend location and make the move down south to Atlanta.
A moving company has been packing up the football memorabilia since Monday, moving artifacts, exhibits and other pieces of college football history onto trucks.
Those overseeing the job say it could be finished as early as Thursday night.
”What we have most of anything are photographs you got 11 hundred hall of famers so each guy you got at least a half dozen photographs of each one, plus untold other photographs of people who are not hall of famers,” says Hall of Fame archivist, Kent Stephens.
The hall first opened in South Bend in 1995, the new location in Georgia is said to open its doors in September, 2014.
