Guilty verdict in 2011 murder

KNOX A court has ruled against a man accused of brutally killing an elderly woman in her daughter's home.

WKVI reports that Roy Bell has been found guilty of murder, robbery and criminal confinement in the 2011 death of Wilma Upsall.

Prosecutors say Bell and two friends broke into the home, only to find her sitting on the couch. They tied her up with a telephone cord as they ransacked the house, then killed her so that she couldn't identify them later.

Bell will be sentenced on September 16th. He could face life in prison.
