Vegetables were not the only green items at the South Bend Farmer’s Market Saturday morning, among the crowds of people and produce stands, vendors donned green noses in support of the Logan Center.
The Logan Center manned their own “Logan Nose-On” booth to showcase the famous schnozes along with other Logan products.
The foundation said they hoped to raise funds and awareness for people with developmental disabilities.
Fran Lapkiewicz works at the foundation and said, “The clients at Logan Industries have been the ones to package all of these noses. This year they packaged 15000 noses and they just love. They just bounce noses around, having a ball. They work hard.”
The “Nose-On” promotion leads up to the foundation’s big Logan Nose-On luncheon which will be held on March 19.
