Benton Harbor, Mich. Benton Harbor High School students will be getting more technology resources thanks to a grant pilot program.

Benton Harbor was selected as one of 14 pilot sites in Michigan to share $5 million in funding.

It's called the Whole School Technology Transformation Grant.

According to our reporting partners at the Herald-Palladium, the goal is to give each student access to some kind of electronic device this fall.

Teachers will also get extra training on how to incorporate the new technology.

The grant helps administrators continue to move forward with New Tech, a learning approach that teaches children to use technology to solve real-world problems.
