Dowagiac A Granger man says he's not guilty of stealing more than $200,000 from a Michiana college.

Gregory DeRue faces nearly a dozen counts of mail fraud and money laundering filed in the Grand Rapids U.S. District Court.

DeRue served as head of marketing at Southwestern Michigan College from January 2011 to May 2013. He's accused of embezzling the money while handling the college's account with his own advertising business. But college officials say DeRue never told them he owned the company.

According to our reporting partners at Niles Daily Star WSJM, he entered a not guilty plea this week.
