Governor Mike Pence visits Bremen Wednsday

Bremen, Ind. Indiana Governor Mike Pence made a stop in Bremen Wednesday morning.

The Governor addressed two issues at Wednesday’s meeting, making it illegal to sell ephedrine over the counter, and protecting the personal information of law enforcement officials and their families.

Pence said it's the ideas of the public and lawmakers that help get laws passed.

"I think it’s an important step for Indiana,” says Governor Mike Pence. “I think it’s important that we continue to keep our arms around our law enforcement community and their families. And that involves protecting their privacy. As they do their job out on the road, they ought to be able to come home and in their home knowing that in their home they and their family are safe."

With these new tools, law authorities say they believe they can better serve and protect the Hoosier state.
