A Goshen man was sentenced today to 90 years behind bars for a deadly shooting that happened earlier this year.

That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.

Daniel Heflin, 22, pleaded guilty to murder and attempted murder as part of a plea agreement last month. Police say Heflin shot and killed John Staub, 26, back in March after a fight near River and Chicago Avenues.

Three others were also involved, and have already been sentenced.

Dustin Saylor, 22, is spending the next two years in prison after pleading guilty to assisting a criminal. Elisa Horton, 22, was sentenced to four years in prison for the same crime. And William Terry, 25, was sentenced to 25 years behind bars for conspiring to commit murder.
