Immigration
Community members gathered in Goshen Monday night to learn about and discuss U.S. immigration policy, according to reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.
The meeting was held at Goshen High School and nearly 100 people came out.
Goshen College professor Steven Nolt presented information about recent changes in immigration policy law, including a review of Arizona's law and current statistics from Pew Center for Research.
Other guest speakers weighed in with their views on current policy, then encouraged those in attendance to discuss immigration's impact on Goshen.
Organizers say it was encouraging to see so much interest in the issue.
