From the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra release:
As the optimistic high school glee club director Will Schuester on Glee, Matthew Morrison is no stranger to a career filled with song and dance.
Prior to this role, Morrison starred on Broadway in the original cast of Hairspray and reprised the role of Lieutenant Cable in Lincoln Center’s Tony Award-winning smash revival of South Pacific.
Led by ISO Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly, Morrison’s concert with the Indianapolis Symphony will include songs from his latest album, Where It All Began, featuring many Broadway hits such as “Younger Than Springtime” and standards made famous by Sinatra, including “Luck Be a Lady” and “The Lady Is a Tramp.”
Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased through the ISO Box Office by calling (317) 639-4300 or toll free at (800) 366-8457 and online at www.IndianapolisSymphony.org. ISO subscribers receive a 10 percent discount on all special event concerts.
