Many may have their Christmas shopping done, but the gifts just might not have found their way under the tree yet.
But do not worry; folks at the Concord Mall in Elkhart are ready to help with that tedious task called wrapping.
Volunteers at the gift wrap center have spent the last 17 years wrapping thousands of presents. They open up shop on the weekends and will wrap anything bought at the mall. Volunteers also collect donations.
On Saturday, all the money collected went to help with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
For some, that was the best gift of all!
“It is a special time of year because, I almost lost Chelsea when she was diagnosed,” said Elizabeth Griffin, a volunteer. “So, for me, I’m just really grateful to have her in my life.”
The gift wrap center will be open again this Tuesday, Dec. 24.
