Geico is announcing plans to bring 1,200 jobs to Indiana and pump millions of dollars into developing a campus just north of Indianapolis.

The Washington, D.C.-based insurance company plans to equip a 109,000 square-foot customer service center in Carmel. Geico Chairman Tony Nicely and Gov. Mike Pence announced the plans Monday outside the planned Carmel location.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. is offering $10 million in conditional tax credits and $400,000 in training grants if Geico can show it filled the jobs as promised.
