Fund helps pet owners on government assistance

South Bend, Ind. A program that is helping the four-legged friends of families who depend on government assistance to meet their own needs needs the community's support.

The Frantz L. Dantzler Friends for Life Fund, Inc. annual dinner is coming up on June 2 at Parisi's Italian Restaurant on South Bend Ave. in South Bend starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets cost $45 per person. There will be a social hour, raffle and silent auction. Elvis impersonator Dough Church will provide the entertainment for the evening.

Every donation to the Frantz Fund goes directly to pet care. All operating expenses are paid for by the board and all gifts to the fund are tax deductible.
