Tax season has officially begun, and Saturday, 1st Source Bank partnered with United Way for Super Saturday.
Appointments and walk-ins made their way to the IU South Bend campus for free tax help.
People who make less than $51,000 in 2013 are eligible for the service.
It's part of United Way of St. Joseph County's "Prosperity Building Campaign" aimed at helping empower low to middle income families.
"Our goal is to find those dollars, give them to people, help them earn it, keep it and save it," said Dawn Chapla of the United Way.
"It's kind of daunting, and we can all use a little help," said Ron Zeltwanger of 1st Source Bank, "We're here to answer questions and guide them through the process."
Free tax prep through the program will continue throughout this tax season. For more information, click on the Big Red Bar.
