Frankenstein's monster helps kick off "One Book, One Michiana"


South Bend, Ind. Every year, "One Book, One Michiana", from the St. Joseph County Public Library, encourages the community to come together and read.

This year's book is Mary Shelley's, "Frankenstein". The classic novel, also known as The Modern Prometheus, was first published in 1818, nearly two centuries ago.

The fun gets started on Friday and runs through May 3.
