Former Saint Mary's College employee pleads guilty to voyeurism

A former Saint Mary's College employee pleaded guilty Monday after he was accused of drilling holes to peep on students in dorm bathrooms.

David Summerfield, 73, was a maintenance employee at the college when another employee allegedly spotted him in the attic of Le Mans Hall peeping on the showers below.

He also allegedly stole clothing out of the laundry room.

Summerfield pleaded guilty to Count II, Voyeurism, a Class B Misdemeanor, and added Count III, Criminal Mischief, a Class D Felony.

Count I, Theft, a Class D Felony, was dismissed.

Sentencing is scheduled for September 23.
