A former Knox High School teacher and basketball coach was arrested Friday amid allegations of sexual misconduct with a student that occurred as early as 2007.
That's according to our reporting partners at WKVJ radio.
39-year-old Todd Boldry is facing preliminary charges of child seduction and official misconduct.
He was taken into custody Friday morning at Knox Middle School, where he works as a teacher.
The Starke County Prosecutor's Office said Boldry is accused of having an inappropriate relationship on high school grounds with a 17-year-old student.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the encounter began in the fall of 2007 when Boldry began sending text messages to the victim, who was a junior at the time.
The inappropriate physical conduct allegedly began that December, when they would meet in the school's training room and continued through August of 2009, when the victim says she became pregnant.
She gave birth to her son in May of 2010 and since then, a DNA test had reportedly indicated that Boldry is the child's father.
Boldry is currently being held on $100,000 bond.
If convicted, he faces up to six years in jail.
