Formal plea agreement entered for teen who was charged with conspiracy to commit murder

Kosciusko County, Ind. Monday, a formal plea agreement was entered in court, for a teen accused in a murder conspiracy.

At age 12, Paul Gingerich pleaded guilty to helping kill a friend's stepfather.

Now 16, he made a plea agreement that would allow him to leave a juvenile facility once he completes his high school diploma. Gingerich would still remain under adult supervision for 25 years, but he could be placed in a group home, or even paroled.

Gingerich was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, in connection with the 2010 shooting of 49-year-old Phillip Danner. He was killed in his home near Lake Wawasee.
