One of Elkhart County's largest employers is seeking a pair of tax breaks they say will allow them to eventually add more than 445 new, full-time jobs.

Forest River RV plans to expand its Millersburg and Middlebury facilities by adding 160 employees and investing nearly $3.5 million in new equipment and property improvements at both locations.
Company officials said the two expansion projects are part of a larger plan to bring hundreds of jobs to Elkhart County and they're asking the county council to help support their plan by granting them tax deductions.
If they approve the two tax breaks, the RV manufacturer will then qualify for state assistance.
The final vote will take place later this summer.
