Police seized five horses Sunday in Starke County after multiple complaints about them being in the roadway.
Officers say they have received at least ten calls in the last month about horses not being fed and cared for properly on Range Road, south of Toto Road.
Prosecutors seized the horses after two more calls came in on Sunday.
The horses are being kept in an undisclosed location.
