Authorities offering reward in Goshen robbery

GOSHEN, Ind Authorities are offering a $14,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people involved in the MC Sports robbery on Saturday.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Columbus Field Division , the Goshen Police Department, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF)--the trade association for the firearms industry--are teaming up to find those responsible.

According to the ATF and Goshen police, the suspects stole firearms and rounds of ammunition from MC Sports. The robbery occurred December 14, sometime during the evening hours.

“The theft of firearms from licensed gun dealers is a top priority for ATF,” said Michael Boxler, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the ATF Columbus Field Division. “This is a crime that impacts public safety and something that ATF takes very seriously. We need to identify the individuals that committed this robbery and hold them accountable for their actions” emphasized Boxler.
