Father and son arrested in Kosciusko Co. drug raid

A raid on a Kosciusko County business busted three men on drug charges.

On Friday, Mar. 22, a team of both uniformed and undercover officers from the Kosciusko Co. Sheriff’s Department raided Atwood Auto Sales located at 205 Main St. in Atwood.

After searching the premises officers discovered pills, schedule I narcotics, or controlled substances, and a small amount of marijuana.

The three men inside the business where taken into custody and arrested by the investigating officers, including the store’s owner, Todd Swanson, 47, who was charged with felony possession of a schedule I narcotic and maintaining a common nuisance. His son, Todd James Swanson, 26, was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

The third man, Travis James Johnson, 36, has been preliminarily charged with visiting a common nuisance.

Both the father and son have posted their bond, while Johnson remains behind bars with a $355 bond still pending.
