New information has been released Thursday night about a two-car crash in Marshall County that left one person dead and two others injured.
At happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Michigan and 5A Roads, just north of Plymouth.
According to witnesses and evidence collected at the scene, Nicholas Donahue, 37 of Rochester, was driving south on Michigan in his blue Dodge Durango, when he crossed over the center line.
Police say the SUV collided head-on with a northbound white Buick sedan, killing the driver of that car, Gary Richard, 54 of La Paz.
“I heard a big crash, I looked over to the road, saw the Durango come up almost flip over, come back down,” said neighbor Duane Wilson. “I ran out there called 911, and stayed with the guy in the Durango.”
Donahue, along with a passenger in Richard’s car, 53-year-old Carol Wagers of Plymouth, were taken to the hospital, but there's no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
Both vehicles were badly damaged in the wreck.
