Fans enjoy sun splashed Saturday at Harbor Shores

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- It was a sun splashed Saturday at Harbor Shores for the Senior PGA Championship and fans took advantage of it in Benton Harbor.

The weather is beautiful, we've thoroughly enjoyed it," said Anthony Germano of South Bend, who followed the likes of the legendary Tom Watson along with his wife.

Other fans found a spot on the lawn, had a cold drink in hand and watched on.

“On a scale from 1-10 I’m having fun to the 11th point, so we’re doing pretty good out here," says Zachery Kerns of St. Joseph."

Tournament officials admit they couldn't ask for anything more with what they are already getting. Weather is great, crowds are big and some of the biggest names in the sport are at the top of the leaderboard.

Colin Montgomery leads the pack at 7-under with Bernhard Langer a stroke back at -6. Tom Watson fell back to 3-under but is certainly still in the mix.

You can watch final round coverage on WNDU Sunday at 3pm.
