SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- It's been one year since a 20-year-old mother was shot to death on a South Bend street.

Tonight, family and friends came together in remembrance.

JaRina Bailey was killed in a shooting on Lincolnway West and College on July 21 of last year.

A gunshot wound to the abdomen eventually claimed her life.

Family and friends marched tonight from Huey and Prast to Navarro's Car Wash, where they spoke about her life.

Family members tell us JaRina Bailey was heading home from a party when she was shot.

“She was bubbly, her attitude, her way of life, it was just bubbly, you couldn't help but fall in love with her,” said JaRina Bailey’s great aunt, Lorraine Bailey.

She leaves behind two children.
