The family of a Dunlap man, who's been missing for about a week, is starting to fear the worst.
44-year-old Mark Miller has been missing since last Friday, when someone saw him at his Elkhart tattoo shop.
Mark's mother, Sheila, says she knew something was up when she didn't get a daily phone call from her son.
"I talk to him everyday on the phone, up until last Thursday and then I couldn't get a hold of him again," she said. "And he would always call me. I don't know where he's at."
Since then, family and friends have been searching throughout Elkhart County for any clues about Mark's whereabouts.
But, so far, they've had no luck.
"I can't sleep and I have dreams that he's alive," said Mark's niece Karla Parker. "But, I don't know."
Family and friends say Mark would never leave town without telling someone, especially not for so long.
"He has a little boy who just had a birthday and he would never miss his birthday," Sheila said.
She's hopeful that will be the only birthday Mark misses and that, in the coming days, he'll find his way home.
"If he sees me I just want him to konw, we're out here looking for you," Karla said through tears. "I just want him to know we're here for him."
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department says there's no evidence of foul play, but anyone with information is asked to call them at 533-4151.
