A Berrien Springs man arrested earlier this year for sexually assaulting women while posing as a doctor has pleaded guilty to five felony charges, according to our reporting partners at the Herald Palladium.
Charles Mosimbwa, 43, admitted to practicing medicine without a valid license and committing sexual acts in the process.
Up until the attorney general's office arrested him in March, he was seeing patients at his office in Niles and at an apartment in Berrien Springs, using forged credentials.
It was later discovered that he used the guise of examining a women to commit the sexual assaults.
Mosimbwa is expected to be sentenced to 5 to 20 years behind bars, and ordered to compensate Medicare and Medicaid for payments he received while fraudulently practicing medicine.
