The snowy weather has Michiana residents taking advantage of winter activities, especially at Howard Park.
Dozens of people spend their Wednesday afternoon skating at the Howard Park ice rink, and in honor of the holiday the rink is extending public skating hours.
From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Howard Park ice rink will be open for public skating on Wednesday, the park is also offering extended holiday hours:
