Elkhart man arrested for impersonating cop
Elkhart, Ind. An Elkhart man was arrested this morning for impersonating a cop, after he tried to pull over a car with his cell phone. That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.

An Elkhart man was arrested this morning for impersonating a cop, after he tried to pull over a car with his cell phone. That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.
23-year-old Malcolm Royer was arrested around 1:45 Thursday morning at the intersection of County Road 9 and State Road 119.
Police say he held up is cell phone, with flashing blue and red lights on it, to the car in front of him.
The people in the car were suspicious so they called police.
Royer was arrested soon after for impersonating an officer.
