A selfie photo and three different versions of events resulted in a home invasion conviction for 19-year-old Dominque Goodwin.

Back in April, Goodwin and two others broke into a house in the Edwardsburg area.

The homeowner caught them leaving his property, and they made up at least two different stories about why they were there.

They denied any connection to the getaway car.

However, police found Goodwin 's debit card and phone in the vehicle, complete with a selfie photo.

Goodwin faces up to 15 years in prison.

He will be sentenced August 1.
