Elkhart Schools are hosting the second of three public meetings Monday night to gather and share input on a plan to stagger school start times.
Superintendent Rob Haworth says they're trying to come up with a plan to deal with a $2.3 million dollar transportation budget shortfall.
Staggering start times would mean fewer buses on the road. School leaders also want to change elementary school boundary lines to make routes more efficient.
Monday’s meeting begins at 6p.m. at Pierre Moran Middle School.
