A driver is in jail after causing four separate accidents at an apartment complex Saturday night.
36-year-old Paul Heiser of Elkhart was driving drunk around 9p.m., when he crashed into two garages and two utility poles in the North Lake Apartment complex east of County Road 9.
Heiser tried to flee the scene but witnesses held him until police arrived.
He is now facing charges of operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a crash, disorderly conduct, driving without insurance and unsafe speed to avoid collision.
