A special prosecutor is looking into an incident involving Elkhart County commissioner, Terry Rodino.
According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, the county police department began the investigation, but has asked that it be turned over to a special prosecutor.
The allegations do not apparently involve Rodino's affiliation with the county government, but allegedly stem from inappropriate sexual activity.
This isn't the first time Rodino has been in hot water. Back in 2010, the Truth obtained documents that said Rodino was named in a lawsuit that claimed he made inappropriate sexual advances against female employees at his companies. It also said he bought liquor for an underage female employee, and knowingly hired illegal aliens.
The investigation was turned over last Friday. It is now up to the prosecutor to decide whether or not charges should be filed.
