Elkhart County The driver shortage is improving in Elkhart County, making it easier for companies to deliver their finished products, according to industry officials.

Three months ago, they met at the RV Hall of Fame to discuss their concerns. RV transport firms were urged to pay drivers more, and post job needs on a new website called findtherightjobdot.com.

By the end of July, a backlog of more than 25,000 RVs is expected to be 90% taken care of. Our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth say industry leaders expect the problem to be fully solved by August.
