ELKHART, Ind. Elkhart School Board members voted on a few referendum measures Monday night.
The board approved proposals brought forward by the school superintendent last month.
Their approval paves the way for the referendums to be put on the ballot for voters to decide in May.
Combined, the referendums would cost tax payers about 18 cents per $100 of assessed property value.
The referendums seek $19 million for building and security improvements plus $4 million to fund transportation for the next seven years.
