One person is recovering in the hospital after a rollover crash early Saturday morning.

The incident happened around 5:25 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. 20 and C.R. 16.

A semi-tractor and trailer was going westbound on U.S. 20 in the heavy fog. Maurice Pentecost, the driver, approached C.R. 16 but missed the curve.

Pentecost left the road to the northwest, over-corrected and caused the semi to rollover, according to Middlebury police.

A passenger in the sleeper was ejected and had to be transported to Goshen General Hospital. The victim's injuries are unknown.

Pentecost complained of some pain at the scene.
