WARSAW A 21-year-old man is under arrest for ignoring a school bus stop arm and passing the bus as children were attempting to cross the road.

Michael Goble was reportedly drunk and high on synthetic marijuana at the time.

Stacey Page Online reports that a sheriff's deputy saw the incident after school Wednesday on C.R. 100 E in Warsaw. When the officer realized Goble wasn't stopping, he honked the horn to alert the children. Fortunately no one was hurt.

Goble told the officer he thought vehicles were only required to stop if they were behind the bus.
