Drunk drivers faces three counts of second degree murder

The man accused of killing three people last month while driving drunk is now scheduled to go to trial.

According to WSJM Radio, David Johnson, 32, was four times over the legal blood-alcohol driving limit when he crashed his car head-on into another vehicle and killed three people.

Testimony Wednesday during a preliminary court hearing revealed that Johnson’s blood-alcohol level was 0.32, while the legal limit in Michigan in 0.08.

Johnson faces three counts of second degree murder for the death of Brittney King , 24, Kandice Berryhill, 4, and Cassadi Berryhill, 2, all of South Haven.
