Flipping his truck twice did not stop one man from fleeing the scene of an accident he caused after driving drunk.
Daniel Gregory Williams, 36, was driving his Nissan Frontier westbound on Toledo Rd. just west of Rowe St. when officers say he ran off the road and overturned his car.
The Nissan landed in a shallow ditch to the side of the street, but Williams didn't stop, he got out of the car and took off. Police later found Williams walking along Goshen Ave. with a blood alcohol level of .15, twice the legal limit, and arrested him for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Officials also charged Williams with leaving the scene of an accident and driving too fast for the wet road conditions.
