STURGIS, Mich. A Michigan woman spurred a police chase across Sturgis Sunday. Sturgis Police tried to stop a black Jeep in the 400 block of North Lakeview for an apparent driver's license violation. The incident started at about 11:40 a.m.

The woman refused to stop and fled toward Glen Oaks Community College.

She drove her Jeep off of the road through the grass behind the ISD building. Police eventually blocked the vehicle and arrested the driver, a 43-year-old Sturgis woman.
