CONSTANTINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Southwestern Michigan authorities say the driver of a vehicle stolen in Sturgis died in a fiery crash 15 miles away.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Bradley Balk says the crash happened about 1:20 a.m. Sunday in Constantine Township.
Balk didn't immediately identify the driver.
He says the vehicle was speeding when it left the road, hit two trees and burst into flames. He says emergency crews were unable to pull the driver from the burning wreckage.
