Downtown South Bend is hoping that Wednesday night's mild weather will bring crowds to their July Wine Walk.

There are four Wednesday Wine Walks scheduled throughout the summer and fall. The July 9 event will benefit Reins of Life.

According to the DTSB website: Choose your starting point and enjoy your stroll through downtown South Bend. During every wine walk you receive three wine tastings and three complimentary appetizers at each restaurant.

Participating restaurants include Baker’s Bar and Grille at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Café Navarre, Chicory Café, Ciao’s Lounge, East Bank Emporium, The Exchange, LaSalle Grill, South Bend Chocolate Café, Sunny Italy Café, Tippecanoe Place Restaurant, and Woochi Japanese Fusion & Bar.

Free carriage rides by Dream Coach Carriages are also available, weather permitting, and shuttle service is available to the East Bank, courtesy of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel’s “Sweetest Ride” Van.

The Wine Walk costs $40 per person and runs from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
