The Dowagiac Police Department is currently investigating a missing person.

Rose Morris, 25, was reported missing on Sunday, July 27.

The 5’2”, 170 pound woman has brown hair that is usually worn up, and she has brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue shorts and a tank top, possibly pink or yellow.

Family members advised police that Morris was last seen by them on Thursday evening, July 24, at approximately 5:30 p.m.

She told them she was going out with friends and left her residence in the 300 block of E. Division St.

Police determined that she met some friends and went to a house in Dowagiac and had been there for most of the night.

Information received states that she left that residence later in the night around 11:30 p.m.

At this time there has been no information received that Morris is in any danger.

However, according to family, it is unlike her to not contact them. Morris does not have a cell phone or any credit cards to track.

She has been entered into the statewide computer system as a voluntary missing person. Information has been sent out to all law enforcement agencies in Southwest Michigan as well as Northern Indiana.

Dowagiac Police continue to investigate this incident and are asking anyone that sees Morris or has any further information to contact police immediately.

Dowagiac Police can be reached at (269) 782-9743 or the Cass County tip line (800) 462-9328.
