A Mishawaka Dollar General that was without air conditioning for more than a week is back open.
The store on South Merrifield Avenue closed Saturday afternoon after Newscenter 16 showed up and started interviewing customers.
It was so hot inside at one point, candles were melting. The temperature in the store reached 105.
Several shoppers called corporate to complain about the unsafe working conditions. Now the store's air conditioning is fixed and it's back open for business.
