WINAMAC Diabetic issues caused a motorcycle crash last week that injured a juvenile and a 42-year-old man.

WKVI reports that Tyrone Anderson and the youth were riding along U.S. 35 south of Winamac last Tuesday, when they crossed the center lane near County Road 225 South.

They crossed the path of an oncoming car and collided with it in the ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Police say Anderson seemed confused and disoriented. He told them he had missed his required dose of insulin.

Both he and the passenger on the back of the bike were injured, but it's not clear how badly.
