City commissioners are scheduled to make a decision Monday night on controversial plans to build a CVS drug store in Berrien County.

St. Joseph, Michigan City commissioners are scheduled to make a decision Monday night on controversial plans to build a CVS drug store in Berrien County.

If approved, it would be the first CVS in the county, Located at Niles and Napier In St. Joseph.

Florin Funeral Home is planning to sell the property and move, according to our reporting partners at WSJM .

Some residents who live nearby have fought against the CVS plans, saying it will cause traffic problems. However, if the CVS plan doesn't go through, the funeral home owners say they'll sell the land to developers who want to build a gas station there, since that requires no re-zoning.

Monday Night's meeting is at 6 p-m.
